Once you have rank 1 Fire Mastery and rank 1 Fireball, you are given a quest called the "Ultimate Flame"

It requires you to 100 fire sprites with firebolt, 100 balrogs with firebolt, 100 dragons etc.
Once completed, you are awarded Meteor Strike.
Rebirthing into the Hero Druid - Merlin Talent allows you to gain Meteor Strike without the need to complete the quest.

Okay, so the Left silver icon is the Hero Talent. The right gold icon is the Destiny Talent.
Destiny Talent is what we have now: Warrior, Archer etc...
Hero Talent is the new one.
Hero talent is basically combined Destiny Talent. For example, if you picked the Druid Hero: Merlin, you get the the Druid talent and some new skills automatically (passing learning requirements like Meteor Strike), and in addition you also get the Pharmacy, Holy Art, and Mage Talent skill bonuses. In a sense, Hybrid Talent.
Currently there's only The Druid Hero: Merlin, the second Hero will be released on 5/2 and the third on 5/16. As you can see, the 2nd silhouette is a female, feel free to think who it may be.

The Hero Talents are basically rebirthing into the fate of a legendary hero.
What makes it interesting is that it is a hybrid talent. In particular, The Hero Druid - Merlin talent gives 2x training for Mage, Cleric, and Apothecary.
The Hero Druid - Merlin talent also gains Meteor Strike, Moving Cast, and Instant Casting without the need for the quest and enjoys the 2x training with it.
In terms of stat bonus, The Hero Druid - Merlin talent enjoys:
Start Bonus:
int +10, will +5, mana +10, stamina +5
Level bonus:
Int 0.5, will 0.25, mana 0.25
The Legendary Hero path is most likely the old destiny system. =)
