First of all i feel like this.. :imdead:
ok so I have a 650W power supply for starters everything else has worked so far
Ok so Used a geforce 560 ti as my GPU for awhile now and everything has run fine.
My friend comes along and tells me he finds another make of the 560ti on Kajiji (different brand same chip) for sli. (I researched this and normally it shouldn't matter as long as they're the same chip set).
I ran Bioshock Infinite pretty well on High with a few slow downs here and there which were generally negligible no tearing that i could notice at all.
Fast forward to plugging in the 2nd card and connecting it, I run Bioshock Infinite and can now run it on Very High about as well as High did previously, about 10 mins In my computer crashes... so I restart and reopen Bioshock to check if it happened again and it didn't.
I found out that my computer crashes everytime I start up and play a game like bioshock Infinite, League of legends, titan quest immortal throne, pretty much anything after a bit of playing (on restart it recognizes it as a bluescreen but no valuable details were given to me (me).
After said crash and restart it boots up and I look at my nvidia controls and it doesn't recognize the 2nd card anymore and there are no SLI configurations anymore. so what? did the SLI mystically disapear? idk. I can then proceed to play Bioshock Infinite on Very High or even Ultra w/o a mystical SLI but then my Screen is tearing like crazy...while screen tearing is very annoying obvious choice is to use vsync which I enable in nvida display as thats the only way it exists (Bioshock don't have it), It doesn't fix the tearing infact anything i do there doesnt seem to change anything in game (I might have to possibly change it then reboot the game idk, It's always changed settings on a game ive had up whenever I hit apply).
The main issue i want to fix is the SLI... and Crashes... any ideas guys?
~apologize for the long post~
If you need more specs let me know
edit: checking display drivers in device manager only shows 1 idk if that is good or bad
