This is a Delicacy Somewhere
Yeaaa. If I saw this on my table, I would run out into my street, crying and screaming. ;__; No way am I eating that.
What would you do?

Probably would not eat it. Depends if there was other edible food in a 12 mile radius, and if i had eaten in the last 9 days.

I think i just died a little inside.
I would not dare to touch them. I'd probably stare for a while, start to gag, then have to run out and throw up. My Dad once tricked me into eating snake or something by saying it was chicken...my reaction was along the lines of what i said before.

Bugs are supposed to be like shrimps.
Soo why didn't they remove the exoskeleton? Dumb chefs..... not knowing what the word delicacy means.

(Actual) delicacies are always something gross/disgusting that people love to eat for some reason.
Think
escargot,
caviar, or
truffles.

Ah, didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification *rep
But they still should have removed the exoskeleton cuz someone could get hurt by it.
the reason I related those with shrimps is cuz shrimps were called bugs of the sea before it became popular.

If it's perfectly safe to eat it, sure, why not.

The thing is, my mom says that I used to enjoy eating those stuff on pic #6.
They're butterfly coccoons before they hatch.

I can't say I wouldn't eat this in any given situation. Looks gross, but hey--to each his own.
