Started playing last weekend. Was a pain in the ass at first, then things got interesting once I learned how Max, Sunderer, and Heavy Class worked 8D
There is a "Drunk Player" Squad that comes on at midnight, they were very good with voice communication and organization, even learned how handy my sunderer turned out when invading the blue base :D

I played, then realized i have to rely on other players, then i quit.
Not that great with relying on other people.
However that does not make it bad, it's the same reason i won't play LoL.

For the Terran Republic! Vanu Scum, New Conglomerate dogs.

I chose Terran Republic!, due to the continent being overrun by the other two empires. I wanted to be able to face large numbers of enemy than joining the hyped popular/"good guy" factions.
Voice chat really came handy when communicating the entire squad's attack pattern and sunderer's position, and number/types of units needed on base raids. Totally different than playing with bunch of mutes.
Air combat is sometimes a pain though, but like shooting them down from the ground 8D

I started playing it yesterday.
Had a pretty rough 3h+ war of attrition just now at one biolab, and it was still going on when I left.
The contrast-increasing sights are pretty rad.

I just got those Sky Guard (AA turret) for my lightning tank, they just tear those aircraft down. Not as strong as buster Max but have better mobility. Also used it on Enemy light units, easier with nightvision or thermal :D

So far got into Execution Outfit, we've done Medic raid and Galaxy Suicide runs. The Outfit is very organized and their head members with soothing voice o3o

I've got one just yesterday in fact.
And yeah, Buster MAX rules. Empties the sky in no time. Sissies don't dare pass the valley after one has been shot down and the other two evaded death just so.
It has such a nicely small frame too compared to tanks. Unless they have some thermal vision or whatever there's no chance in hell they're gonna find a camouflaged MAX before it's too late, and considering 90% of people don't even seem to know there's a spot function it makes things just so much easier.

Ya Buster MAX are awesome taking down aircraft spawns. However they are trouble when facing guys on foot or when the guy decides to respawn roll in with a tank. The new weapon for MAX can deal greater damage to armored vehicles (very annoying when facing them). Most MAX have flack Jacket armor making them stronger against explosives (like from Tank shells and Aircraft missile pods)
Aircrafts can use thermal/night vision on any guns, however they will need to get closer to their targets to get more clear view, but beats looking for a moving black dot on the ground. When going for a full accuracy they will need to fly towards their target slowly in straight line or hover around them. Which makes them an easier target for anyone to shoot at, especially Buster MAX. Composite Armor is highly recommended for aircraft's defesive slot (so they dont easily get blown up)

Nah, just run up to them and smash them in the head. Unless they're a group obviously.
Just today I actually managed to kill a Terran MAX with my AA MAX unharmed because that idiot NEVER turned around. Not when I spotted him from maybe 4 meters away, not when I stood a meter behind him firing on his back. It was ridiculous.

Been busting up kills and armored kills with fracture max. Also been farming lots of exp playing at a combat medic (those res and healing exp) even healing others as engineer. On the downside, despite my TR outfit's organized raids, we are always outnumbered by the two factions. Sometimes they join force to wipe out the TR's territory, on the upper side there are more of them to shoot.

TR outnumbered? What a weird server. On mine Vanu are usually outnumbered.
