I have a very old laptop, and even with nagle disabled and my mods, I still can get some pretty bad lag at times.... like two or three frames per 10 seconds. It looks more like my computer froze instead of lag.
Can game booster solve this problem? Do you use game booster? How has it improved your game play? Please tell me as much as you can and I'll really appreciate it!

I stopped using GameBooster since I didn't really notice it doing anything for me. Only free'd up a minuscule amount of RAM for me.
Your lag could just be your graphics card spasming on you.

Software tweaking can only help so much. There is no getting around inadequate hardware.

I've used game booster before. It stops any unnecessary processes while you play whatever it is you're playing.
I'm not sure if it'll solve all your problems, but it should reduce some of your lag. It did for me.
In fact... I think I might go download it again.

Helped me... A lot in running Spore.
I went from total lag on lowest graphics settings to decent speed with decent graphics from it. Though Mabi played fine for me without it. Mostly it helps on games that require more system resources. Mabi isn't really one of them. Though if it IS computer lag, go right ahead.

Gamebooster has nothing on altering your MTU. Check out Halfslash's guide.

Before I used Gamebooster, I usually get like... 20 FPS on the maximum settings when I'm in Tara.
Gamebooster turned on, it usually hits 30-40ish.
In my opinion, Gamebooster helps a bit if your desktop/laptop have low RAM. Like 256-512MB. You don't really notice Gamebooster's effect when your RAM is 2GB or higher. At least, in Mabinogi and its frustrating Plenione engine.

No matter what i do with gamebooster, i cant get kingdom hearts to play at full speed on my laptop.
Though thats probably because of my fail cpu, once i have moneh ill build my own system (im thinking, college= student loans=nice shiny new computer parts to put together).
Oh, and it does help in mabi, usualy during lag times i use it.
