Hackshield Error

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Since the last patch, I have been unable to log in to the game. When I enter my user name and password, I get a message saying there's been a hackshield error, and the following error code. 0xe904000e Also, my login screen reverted back to Miku for some reason.

The knowledge base suggested restarting my computer, but that did nothing. I've submitted a ticket to NEXON already, but I figured if it's something I might be able to fix myself, asking here will be faster.

Have you updated Hackshield?

C:>Nexon>Mabinogi>HShield>HSUpdate.exe. Try that and lemme know.

Nope, didn't work. And, yeah, I don't use mods. Also, my ticket auto closed. I have no idea what this means. Maybe just re-install the client?

Edit: yep, reinstalling worked.
