  Well, to try and summarize the crappy google translation that I read on the story portion of the website:
  
  I guess Nanase started out swimming when he was young or something, and since then he's loved it. He joined the swimming club as a kid, where Tachibana Makoto, Matsuoka Rin and Hazuki Nagisa were members of the team as well. Their last victory was in elementary school before graduation, and after that they parted ways. Time passed, and Nanase just kind of floated idly through highschool, until Rin appeared. Rin challenged him or something? Either way, I guess they're impressed by his skills, which draws them together again, including a new guy, Ryugasaki Rei. The story basically revolves around their highschool lives now, and swimming. Obviously.
