I just started up carpentry again, got it from r9-6, and it seems like I am getting much more average/fine wood than I did at r9. Does the rate for these woods go up as you rank it? At the lower ranks i remember barley getting 6 counts of training for gathering fine wood, but r7 i got 28 counts easily.

I don't think the rate changes, but maybe it has something to do with failing gathering slightly less often.

Thats what i thought too, but it seemed like my rate of gathering fine's and average's nearly doubled from r9 to r7. It's probably just luck, as i doubt I gathered more than 250 times each rank. It just seemed weird to me.
