  I doubt it would happen, but yeah we'd probably just let that go. And I've asked for examples for what people believe is "good discussion" or not, but no one seemed to really want to be forward about it. Their loss.
  
  Also, despite saying this would probably be a nonissue, we actually had an issue with it yesterday and I had to send out a warning, since a certain member managed to make 10 threads in bean rua over the course of the day, and 10 more in other boards. It wasn't even half way through the day yet, so left alone it was most likely going to double by night. I think this is really more like throwing water before a fire starts, I think. When there are 15+ threads made by the same person in one board over the course of a few hours, you know people are going to get angry.

  A shame really. People complain about the rules but don't feel like helping when you ask them too give their opinion on them.
  
  Ah yeah I see your point. I will agree that 10 thread in bean rua in not even half a day is a lot. Especially since as you said there was 10 more in other section. When it looks like the person is not going to stop then taking action to make sure it doesn't get worse is justified. I just wouldn't want someone to get punished for making many "relevant to some" thread at once and then stopping. But then again if they make a thread in Bean rua chances are it won't be extremely relevant.

  Agreement posts "^" or "this" -> It isn't hard to add to a quote or at least echo it in your own words, if you're into circlejerking that hard.

  
  

  I don't think having to put anything else between a ^ or "This" should be required but I don't mind if it stays like that. In my opinion one or two "^" out of a rson's every posts isn't so bad.

  
  
  Lyrveil I actually had had something to say about that too but I decided to leave it that. I don't want to make Ashi work too hard on this so i decided to leave it at that. But there really is no way of showing that you agree with someone. posting things like "^" or "this" while quoting something is a quick and easy way of stating that you agree with that post. Besides maybe repping someone but that still inst a public way of showing that you agree with something. :/
  
  People who post ^ arent doing it to spam or anything. They are just doing it to let the person and everyone know that they strongly agree with that the person says.

  I don't think it will kill them to elaborate and add to an opinion. If this becomes a frequent and difficult to control issue, I'll look in to revoking or modifying it.
  
  For the time being, I think we can roll out these changes without too much problem.

  Silly Milk! If Ashi made this thread it's because she wanted people's opinion on the rules. The second part of my paragraph basically state that I have no problem with the rule as is while the first part was that in my opinion if I was a mod I wouldn't be too severe on those kind of post because I think they're not too harmful if done in moderation. But I understand that it is easy and we should add some bit of text and opinion to our "^" or "That" to make it more worthwhile and I totally agree with that too.

  Noway. I'll cause mayhem if you roll those rules [S]unless you give me a pink name[/S]. Just kidding those rules seems fine and should prevent many people calling the mods biased now.
