New MSXspirit.dls analysis

  Hi guys, I'm new to Mabination, so forgive me if I'm doing anything wrong.
  
  I was just looking through the updated Mabinogi spirit.dls file through a 3ml editor and was able to pinpoint some of the new sounds
  
  22 Piano
  23 Violin
  24 Cello
  81- ???
  82-85- Male voice
  91-94- Female voice
  95- ???
  101-103 – male chorus
  111-113- female chorus
  
  Why are there multiple tracks with it seems to be the same sound? Also which are used in which skills?

  Yes, for some reason, the female vocals have a lower range than the male vocals. Both genders of the vocals come in 5 different variants; the tones are the same, but the syllables vary within some of the notes. Choir is the same, but with only 3 variants.

  
  
  81 - 85 are the 5 male vocals while 91 - 95 are the 5 female vocals. The others you listed are correct. Piano, violin, and cello are all just regular instruments, though the piano is similar to a tower cylinder in that it has an action to set it up. Vocals are used in the new singing skill and choir action. The chorus is used as backing vocals in the phantasmal chorus skill.
