OH! A forum event, holy cow. Well, as I sit here in my idle state after working my butt off to make this avatar, I decided to pave the way to our next event here.
Do some of you remember Touhou Awareness? Back in the olden days when times were simpler, it was an event to spread the growing love and fan base a lot of our community had for Touhou. People would get a character all to themselves from the series, with a matching sig and avatar, I even gave everyone a corresponding title for their character. It was fun, and some of those titles even follow us to today's members. So how's about a round 2? With a twist of course.
This time we pick any character from anything? All you need to do is at least have a corresponding Avatar to do with your character, along with a small note in your profile saying:
I am [Blank] from [Blank]
For me by example.
I am Aki from Ape Escape 3!
You can also have a matching signature image if you so prefer, or even a small description of them. With that, also a small PM to me to just let me know you'll be participating. You also should state a custom title you prefer corresponding to your character, or ask that I choose one for you. This will all be for free, and at no cost to gold (however it will overwrite your old one)!
But here is the main twist! I would obviously love to see some interesting posts made out of this, and to give some initiative to show how well you can play your character. So if you so prefer, play as them! I am an avid RP lover, and wouldn't mind to see others who enjoy it as well, so if you see a post you could reply to, why don't you try to reply in a way that maybe your character would? Be as over the top as you like! Or maybe create some new threads dedicated to character RP. You can even take some examples from the beloved cat of our forums, as he is always playing his part.
Of course, to participate in this event you do not have to. However if I see anyone putting some real effort into playing their character, I'll create a custom badge of your character and reward it to you! This is along with 3,000 gold in case you wish to revert to another title again after.
