  For what do you know about children, Tibarn? I've never heard of kings to speak out to the people and know about them. They're all the same, rich and pompous and overpowering to the people. Small children will learn about Buddha and Enlightenment eventually when they get older, now is a time of growth for them as a human being. The growth of Enlightenment occurs later on.

  I...see. So you know of my path. Unfortunately, I was a human beforehand, and a human still, so human needs still purge through this soul you see today. I cannot help it, for it was human nature that made me do so. However, I have seen the destruction and hate humans have caused to youkai, and I wanted to help them. Now I do not do it for my own selfish gain, but for the good will of all the youkai in Gensokyo. I worked up to the humans by pretending to be a great youkai exterminatior, but I saved them from their struggles as well. An example of this would be my captain of the Holy Palanquin, Minamitsu Murasa. I was expected to eliminate her, but in turn I saved her from her binding of the ocean, and caused her to never wreck ships passing through the ocean for her own delight. I was greatly prized by the people, knowing that people could go to sleep with no fear of youkai. However, they saw through my ruse, being a demon in a human-like form, and sealed me up in Hokkai. I have changed throughout that time within my years of sealing, and I now wish only for the youkai to be friendly and live in peace with humans: that is my ultimate goal, along with reaching Enlightenment.

  No. Peace and tranquility is the best way to achieve enlightenment quicker, and better. You should try it out sometime, instead of being so bellicose. Confessing also relieves the soul, relaxing the mind.
