Whats really funny was that this entire battle was sparked by accident by a few people. Almost The Great War level of reinforcement drafting.

The amount of EVE currency lost in this battle is about 700 billion ISK, which actually translates to approximately 25 thousand US dollars. I would hate to have been involved in this fight, tbh.

I dunno if that's just how the game is or if this guy sucks at videos but I had to stop watching when it started to look like an acid trip where every scene was fading into the next. Couldn't tell what was still part of what I was watching. Very annoying.

Eve seems to be one of the most interesting MMOs ever. Shame I have no clue what's going on because I never got into it.

EVE gameplay itself isn't really that exciting. It really comes down to decision making and community. Due to time dilation (the game world speed actually drops to compensate for all the events occurring), you have plenty of time to discuss exactly what to do with allies.

It ends up looking like one big laser light show.

EVE is just good for its try-hard aspect of running a second life in a second world. You take the game very seriously. Imagine a guild vs guild battle, with 3000 players involved, and all damages to your resources are permanent. Being so real is what makes it fun.

They take this really seriously, to the point of making fun of the dead dog of someone they don't appreciate in the game, in his presence.

So much worse than MW2 cursing.

So this was like a light skirmish between guilds that escalated into hell? It's so pretty.

He was trying to ram the big ship. The disruption could prevent it from warping out and escaping.

And then when all the capital ships start warping in, he backed off to record the spectacle.

First time I saw it. I mean sure, random curses are normal. But actively and purposefully ridiculing a dead loved one? Never saw anything like it.
