What is it? Relating to dexterity.

You can do the math from this screenshot.
79% balance - 30% (bare hand) - 15% (combat mastery) = 34%. This means 34% of the balance is coming from the 294 DEX.
The formula was something like... 8 * log2(294) subtracted by 31.8 = 33.79%. 33.79% is close enough to 34% I suppose? So the balance changes were applied as originally implemented unless I'm derping somewhere like I usually do when it comes to math.

It looks accurate to me, thanks. Does CM give guns balance/attack boosts?
Edit: Also, heavy armor for humans seems to have an exact 5% balance penalty regardless of dexterity (-35%). Can someone confirm this?

CM does not give balance to guns iirc... and guns have very low balance.
That's why it's often said that it's the worst skillset for a beginner to choose, as there are three stats to worry about for proper damage output and the skills themselves barely give any stats.

Oh fun. I am not looking forward to the balance revamp :/

It's not too bad if you keep in mind a few enchants such as Sight, Automatic/Fierce, Director/Elegant, Strider, and Excavator. At worst, you may have to use a balance upgrade, or lose a few points of max damage.

Hmm. With heavy armor mastery at r1 my dex will be about 20 above your current in this screenie. I guess I'll be using the Dealla and not the Taunes!

Remember that the formula gives A LOT of balance at lower dex but the higher dex you are the more you need to gain little improvement.

Hmm, so...
considering logs are weird when it comes to the log of 0...does that mean someone with 0 dex will cause the client to derp up and crash or something?
I mean I don't see this being a huge problem with dex since you can't reduce it potion poisoning, but lets say a new player with low dex borrows someones scarecrow items and manages to get 0 dex. I'm really curious to see what would happen, since the log2 of 0 is -infinity.
Let's see how good at programming DevCat is ~

Negative balance, we always hit 1s.

Yeah. I need to figure out how to boost my dex or perhaps finally work on a light armor so I can bring my dexy back (yeah).
