  First ones to come to my mind is Guitars. There are left and right handed versions. How you hold them is reversed. So why wouldn't there be the same for other instruments as well?

  Negative, I play violin and as far as I know it's pretty set in stone. I'm sure there are people who customly do it differently, but it's unusual.

  I've seen it done both. And in that picture I can't really see the difference.

  I'm not upset about it at all, I was just showing people who didn't know the difference. I'm just happy they even bothered to make the violin held properly lol and it doesn't sound half bad either.
