Well...I`m having some major computer issues. I clicked on an article on kotaku which caused my computer to shut down. I haven`t been able to do anything since. I can log in but it reboots whenever I press any keys or move the mouse once at the desktop. I`ve seen a rundll32 error pop up when crashing, which seems bad. After a few minutes it displays "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"

It would appear your operating system has been corrupted or your registry is heavily out of order. You will probably need to attempt a recovery and should that fail then a reinstall of your OS may be required.

Hard to say what really happened here. I wouldn't attempt to repair/recover the system, though. Just format the sucker and reinstall the OS clean.
In the meanwhile you could try booting in Safe Mode by spamming F8 as the computer boots. It would let you back up any important files you need before you format the disk. If Safe Mode crashes as well, then you could make a Linux Live CD (like Ubuntu or whatever) and boot from that to grab your files.

Download some Linux distro* and run it live CD, back up your files, and then reformat.
* Knoppix, Ubuntu or Puppy should be good and easy choices for someone with no Linux experience to perform this simple task.
