That's usually how it works. Anyone remember Elegant Gothic Skirts? Frill Short Dress? Those went from super rare to 50k because of events/gacha/whatever. Sad people spend so much money on something just to see its value drop and see everyone else running around with the same thing.

We can fix that problem by getting rid of all the duped gold so people can stop overcharging for shit.

Even so, the prices would stay relatively the same. Even with less gold in the economy, certain items are still going to cost "a lot". "A lot" is relative, though, whether it be 1m or 10m. A rare item will go for 1m in an economy with less gold, and 10m in an economy with more gold. The price is still the same, it just has to do with inflation.

I don't care how common or rare my favorite items are, as long as I genuinely enjoy them. The only time I really feel bad is when gachas/events ruin items that do take some sort of work to get/create.
