I'd like some random people's opinions.

It could work if you used more girly colors? Too bad Oriental Robes don't have man-boobs anymore. Could still make them look girly, though.

I actually don't want it to look girly. A friend told me it did, I think that despite it being a skirt it looks fairly masculine. Thanks though =x

If we're talking in a literal sense, not very feminine looking considering they're/you're wearing male-only clothing.
(But I know that's not the point.)
The eyes are a huge part of it. Eyes + manskirt = yeeeah.

The funny thing is that in any other game I'd automatically thing "girl" but Mabi does warp things a bit.
Every girl, no matter how ridiculously small, has boobies. Even the children. Since males can look pretty girly anyway, the standard for feminine is kind of skewed a bit in my head, too.

I think my entire gender norm view is skewed - I don't necessarily see skirts as necessarily feminine. Specially one without any folds like this one. This one makes me think of kilts instead of other skirts.

Eh, he doesn't look like a girl at all to me.

I'll put it this way: I can see how it could be perceived as "girly."

^ Manskirts are manly.
I don't think it looks girly so much as boyish. The neckline might have been what prompted your friend's response, but it doesn't look overly feminine. I like the sandals, by the way... not sure about the turban... I had a hard time finding a headgear I liked for my character until I saw the masks that drop from Longa

It doesn't look girly to me either. Maybe because i'm used to some of the male hairstyles...
I think it's just the shoes that make it seem a bit feminine, since you don't see a lot of guys wearing open-toe shoes with tall bases.

Yeah, up until a week ago I was wearing a yellow Adora Mask too (it just dropped that color and matched the skirt perfectly.) Sadly they're not enchantable - and the clothes I'm wearing in this picture are my Thief set.
I'm eventually going to make a stitched mask and enchant that instead

Oh, I didn't know they couldn't be enchanted. Then again, everything in that pic of me is in style slot, so that I can look mighty fine and still have mismatched enchanted stuff. Did you already secure a manual? It seems they're no longer available and haven't been for nearly a year.

Yep. I bought one a while ago. Too bad they're not a popular headgear, or I could gouge people for it
