  We were supposed to get compensated for the 5 AP that we did not receive. That is why they extended it by a day, the 10 extra pons is just a happy coincidence.

  That's kind of an odd way to compensate, though.
  
  Imagine someone who was able to participate on the first day, when it actually worked.
  That same person isn't home at all on the extra day.
  No compensation for them.
  
  Though I guess they got lucky and it didn't happen, I haven't seen complaints so far.
