  The bullets do not have to be equipped. They just reload from whatever is in your inventory. What directly they pull from I'm not completely sure on. Assuming bottom right to top left though.
  
  Equipping guns is exactly as equipping knuckles or Human/Elf 2handers

  Also, the bullets gives additional damage depending on their grade.
  
  Magic Bullet for Practice gives like +5 max whereas the best grade, Magic Bullet HD (High Density [as if High Density Mana was used to make it]) gives a big +20 damage increase.
  
  Initially when guns were released, you did not NEED bullets to use them, they were optional. However it was changed in later episodes (as well as gun rebalance).
  
  I am curious if we'll get that fix right away or it'll be patch later.

  They're in the proper crafting list.
  
  Some changes:
  
  

  
  
  • Removed Elementals from Guns for rebalancing purpose, however existing ones are not affected.
    
  • Bullet Storm and Shooting were considered both range and melee hybrid, meaning as long as the enemy was weak to either one, you could still deal your full damage. Example: You can use it on wright who is immune to melee or a zombie who is immune to range. They changed it so that Bullet Storm and Shooting Rush is range while Crossbuster is Melee.
    
  • Bullets are now required to reload guns
    
  • Reloading during Frenzy no longer gives you full clip of ammo at the end. In fact, reload is no longer usable during frenzy.
    
  • Frenzy no longer gets canceled upon getting knocked back or knocked down.
    
  • Fixed a glitch where one levels up during Frenzy, one will have unlimited frenzy duration until they die, change maps, or re-use frenzy (infinite critical shots anyone?)
    
  • Fixed a glitch where the crossbuster animation did not apply properly.

  I heard cross buster is just annoying to use, will miss if enemy is moving. The no stun from gunner skill plus lag cause some weird glitch as well.

  It was fixed along with its animation.
  
  Now the enemy stops when it's being used, just like heat buster.

  Not really. Once you get up to r9 Magic Crafting, you'll find they are pretty easy to make. You just will need a lot of sulien fragments

  That is correct. It takes 1 Intact Sulien which is made from 1 Sulien (5 Sulien Fragments) and 3 Mystery Powder Herbs (1 bloody, 1 mana, 1 poison)
  
  Each one makes 10 bullets. So assuming 0 fails you're looking at 50 Sulien Fragments, and 30 Bloody, 30 mana, and 30 poison herbs per 100 HD Bullets. Okay that does sound a little bit annoying now that I think of it.

  Now, i've got a pretty good idea of how engineering works (drill shit afk and then make it) but I actually don't know how magic crafting works. Do you get herbs from sulien ecology, or do you have to get them externally?
  
  And It doesn't sound that annoying for an extra +20 max, even if you go through bullets by the assload.

  Did you read the sulien list I posted? I mentioned two spots in that thread that you can gather from. Both require a "Blasted Oak Staff" (NA Localized Name from what I've been seeing). In the main Sulien Ecology area the spots there give mostly herbs when you gather from them which can be poison, bloody, base, mana, sunlight, or garbage (maybe others) and have a rare chance of getting sulien fragments.
  
  There's an NPC in there who will teleport you deeper in where there's areas with mobs. Inside there you will find some "glowy" spots that don't sparkle as much but look more like a glowing orb (easier if you just see the pictures in the thread I made about it). Those spots will have a much higher chance of getting sulien fragments instead of herbs but you can still get herbs from them at a relatively decent rate.
  
  Each time you gather you will consume MP and of course the dura of the staff. Does that help any?
