Well the cylinder has 18 elemental attribute at base (for all four elements), and gets another 18 from upgrades. I'm not sure which version of alchemy elemental boosts this is talking about because one of them sucks.
To me, damage is irrelevant if repair cost isn't cheap. If it costs 12k or more for 1 durability on a 98% repair, I don't care if the base damage is like 200~300, its still not worth it. Endgame to me means self sustainable on no gear or gear that is almost costless to maintain.

Not really. The only thing they would be worthwhile for is maybe for fighting girgash as I guess they have special properties for those specific raids. Other than that, their stats are lower than demonic and the dragon raid weapons.
Only one that's slightly better is the Divine Staff and that's only better by a tiny margin, so probably not worth the effort unless you are really hung up on an extra 6 magic attack for a ton of effort.

I think it just goes by the character screen damage when it does it's calculations. There isn't much data in the pack files for specifics on this and we've only had limited testing with it so that's our current assumption.
Results will vary when you use it on Girgash however like Judgement Blade only will deal damage to Girgash in very very specific instances some of those instances being what allows you to complete order quests and unlock subskills and train it.

Having Teto go through the pack files to confirm but as far as I can see, they all appear to be stationary.
