  As Rune said, Renovation is far from done. And they did plan on having more generation quests than just G19.

  I can't really guess which.
  
  But have you noticed, during the combo:
  
  Shield, stuns it. (not the interesting part)
  
  Spike, makes it kneel, but also it does some really small damage, 1 or 2 or something. (still not so interesting)
  
  Blade, BOOM, but then after the blade's damage, the next tick of Celestial Spike's damage will hit for more than before, like 40+, and then go back to doing 1 or 2.
  
  
  I'm not sure what it means, but after a Blade, Spike deals more damage than normal.
  So it's definitely doing something to the Girgashiy's resistances, even if just for a short moment.
  Maybe it's got something to do with "divine damage" or something... maybe not.
  
  This stuff's weird.

  7, the support shot.
  
  2 (3?), the tick of spike.

  Unfortunately I can't tell much else from there because they weren't using normal attacks during that time, so as to not spoil the Blade's support shot boost.
  
  Blade definitely seems to ignore an amount of the girgashiy's resistances when used in the combo, but... seeing as how Spike would tick afterwards for an increased amount, I'm not sure whether it's defence ignore or defense reduction.

  Was in a training party, whacking with brionac smash.
  
  35 normal smashes.
  135 crits
  
  During his kneel time, while blades were falling I watched my damage for smashing.
  
  90 normals
  275 crits
  
  
  So, damage does increase from people blading, during the combo.
  My damage went back down after he stood back up, though.
  
  So Binding Needle subskill helped keep his defense slightly sheared for longer, it appeared.
  
  Though, it appears like each blade's resistance shear effect is on its own timer.
  Since as I tested with wand smacks, my damage went like this.
  
  3 3 3 3 (normal hits)
  Then the blades fell.
  (blade one) 3 (blade two)6 6 (blade 3) 9 9 6 6 3 (gets up)
  
  
  Maybe someone else could test, just to verify, though.

  If it is both, the real question becomes, does it stack, stack slightly with demising returns, or anything that makes multiple sword hits stronger.
