Well since Royal Alchemist came out 2 hour ago, I want to know if someone already discovered enchant, or if it's even possible at the time. I sure am waiting so I can finally upgrade all my cylinder.

Go to Eabha's or Heledd's with different Cylinders and see if you can see the upgrades.
I dunno if this helps much though, as you may need to have some upgrades on the thing first. To see the others, that is.

You have to hope that one of the royal alchemists spams cylinder type a lot and discovers the special upgrade for it.
Has to be discovered weekly so....

Was it already in, I mean in g11 season 2 or was it g12 or something? And weekly, are you serious? So spamming skill with my water cylinder is gonna wield a chance to discover one of the water upgrade? Sorry for all the question, I'm curious hehe
Oh, and thanks guys for the answers.

Spamming any Alchemy skill gives you a chance at discovery any upgrade for any Cylinder.
It's quite random. Mabinogi works in funny ways like that.
Just keep using Alchemy and hope to God that you discover the upgrade you're looking for.

Yes.
I'm very sure of this because the names of the person who discovers cylinder upgrades changes every week.
There are also some upgrades that appear some weeks and don't appear the next week.
Example being the +40 life to barrier spikes upgrade that I have not seen on some weeks but appears sometimes.

Oh? That mean upgrading a cylinder is gonna be an annoying task.

But at least we aren't always stuck with one name :P
It's like a seal stone that can be shared. xD
or like uncovering a dungeon in iria :P
i can't wait for the stamina usage reduction upgrades though, yeargh.

Dungeons in iria have to be discovered again once a week too o.o
But yeah this killed my motivation to get an upgrade xD

Aww... that killed my motivation to discover Cylinder upgrades too.
It's not like you get a title/enchant/Expl EXP for it like finding Iria dungeons. =.=

Uh, no, actually. I'm not sure why you can't see some upgrades sometimes, but they don't reset. It's been a week and a half since the first Water Damage upgrade was discovered, and it's still there, along with every other one that's been discovered thus far. Overseas players have also confirmed that they are permanent.
Considering the chances are about 1 in a million to find a randomly selected upgrade upon using any type of alchemy, it would be stupid to reset them weekly.

Actually, they seem to be discovered quite regularly. There's always those "pros."
I looked at the Wind Cylinder upgrades and they were there this week as well for the past one.
