I wrote this back on the old Nexon Forums back in 2009, then posted it back on 2010. A lot of time has passed so I decided to share once again the pages of the Book on Arrow Revolver! Please keep in mind that this was based on before any of the new skills came out, so I hope you enjoy reading it!

Ever wondered what the pages of the Book on Arrow Revolver said? Well here you have it. This work is purely fiction and made by a fan (me). Anyways I hope you'll enjoy it~! ><
Now without further ado:
The Book on Arrow Revolver
Page 1
It has been noted that during the Great War between the Fomor and the Human Race, even reaching back to when Humans were nothing more than loosely confederate independent city-states, that archery was an effective form of combat.
The way the wind hugs the arrow, carrying it faster than any blade a swordsman can wield, and wiping out any threats before it can reel its ugly head to the archer has astonished many. But with the creation of the Icebolt spell by the Great Druid and Scholar, Maelona, that archery has even been challenged as the supreme form of range combat.
Page 2
With the creation of the Icebolt spell, the revered Archery has finally met its deadly match. Because of its Mana Efficiency and the ability to be taught to anyone with sufficient control of Mana, it soon replaced the bow as a form of range attack to fend off enemies.
Because everything contains Erg (an essential part of all life forms in Erinn), a spell formed by Mana (which is essentially another form of Erg) targets the Erg of an opponent and instantly searches its target, negating any form of “misses†which was a fundamental flaw in Archery.
This caused some problems with Archers, who had hoped that the spell Icebolt would have the same tendency to miss as their arrows. As more people turned to Magic in the way of Combat, other Archers started to search for a way to compete or outdo the Icebolt spell.
Page 3
Because Icebolt merely stunned opponents, sending icy chills down their backs, Archers turned away from merely stunning and holding back the enemy to something more effective. The Renowned Archer, Ryswick the Skillful, after observing how warriors were able to knock back enemies with a single blow using a special skill, sought to imitate the move with the bow.
During the aftermath of the Conflict of Adelia Stream, Ryswick gave his wife, Linda, temporary leadership of Tir Chonail as he went to Snide Satchel and trained in the Art of the Bow in seclusion. He cut off all ties from his Kingdom, only carrying his Bow and 10,000 arrows with him up the snowy steeps of the mountain.

After three months living in the wild, training in his art of archery, that Ryswick finally came down from the Mountains, clad in the same old tattered leather armor when he first climbed the steeps of the mountain.
He was greeted with his wife, Linda, his sons, and ten servants at the foot of the mountain. He called out that his servants bring him sixty bricks, each stacked up to three walls, one after each other, twenty bricks per wall. He also declared that his servant set up a target right behind the bricks, which was hastily set up.
Ryswick drew his bow, pulling the string tightly up to his neck, his posture almost touching the cold ground upon which he stood. There was an eerie silence that filled the crowd as the body of Ryswick showed signs of pain and tension crawling up his muscles as he held his bow.
Breathing slowly, Ryswick concentrated on his target, forcing his Erg upon his hands, then with a loud yell, he released the arrow, sending it soaring in the air, shattering all three walls in the process and hitting the bulls eyes of the target behind all three. This astonished the mass, at its sheer power and the ability to wreck all three brick walls to pieces.
This was the birth of Magnum Shot.
Page 5
As the fame of Magnum Shot spread throughout the lands of Uladh, Ryswick was written as the most famous Archer in History. Archery finally had an upper hand in which magic could not compete. Schools all around Uladh were taught the glory of Ryswick and his famed Magnum Shot.
However, the mages of that time saw the effectiveness of Magnum Shot and sought to imitate the ability of it. It was then the Great Mage and Druid, Arisnel, after studying the ancient civilizations of the Ban clan, the first to discover fire, and the numerous books on Palala, Erinn’s Sun, that he discovered a way to concentrate heat and fire them at a target, dealing unbearable force and pressure.
This magic, with enough Mana in it, not only knocked back the enemy that Magnum Shot was able to do, but it also consumed the enemy in flames, burning the flesh right off.
As with any magic spells, because the spell targets the Erg of its Opponent, it never misses the target. With this alarming discovery, archers sought a way to compete with the ever growing arsenal of mages.
Page 6
As the competition between the mages and archers over the dominance of range combat grew, archers began to feel their inadequate ability on the battlefield. Without the ability to never miss as well as the ability to draw the power from within instead of relying on the amount of arrows in the quiver, archery was starting to be a dying form of art, as more people turn to the more effective use of Magic.
Searching for a way to make the bow more useful in the field than magic, archers traveled to distant lands and trained in seclusion, such as Ryswick did, to find the answer to keep their art alive, but it wasn't until that the appearance of the former mage and apprentice archer, James, that archery finally made its mark in history.
Page 7
James, a former mage, became an archer when he was saved in the wilderness by a mysterious ranger when he ran out of mana to fight a foul beast. Before he could even say his thanks, the mysterious ranger disappeared, leaving James alone in the forest. Inspired by this benevolent act, James searched for a way to revive the dying art of archery. He went back and studied the long history of archery and its use in combat. It was in his cozy room in Dunbarton School that James will soon become the “Second Father†of modern Archery.
When doing his research on range history, he started out on focusing on what made range useful in combat. However, instead of what made range useful in combat, what made range weak in combat caught his attention. He noticed that despite the sheer amount of power that arrows can carry, when an archer missed, there was a chance that the opponent could retaliate. This also amused him that because rangers took so long to load their arrows, when caught in a multi aggression with two or more opponents, rangers had a hard time to compete. So instead of focusing on improving what is already good, James focused instead on what made range weak.
Page 8
After much research, James focused on what made magic useful in combat. One morning as he was observing one of the magic students of Dunbarton shooting icebolts, an idea struck that maybe he should imitate the ability of icebolt with the bow! With the ability to pre-load and fire arrows at the speed of icebolt, archers could not only hold off more than one enemy, but they would have enough time to fire another arrow should they miss.
Of course, loading and pre-loading arrows would take a long time. Enchanting each arrow to fly immediately to the bow for the archer to fire would not only take Mana to load, but it would essentially be icebolt. As far as James was concerned, he wanted to use the skill without any presence of Mana, in which some Archers lack the experience to control properly.
However, upon observing the hands of a student archer in action, another idea popped in James' head: Instead of enchanting the arrows to fire, it would be more efficient to force Erg into the hands to move faster.
This new idea astounded James and he immediately tested it. By concentrating the Erg in his hands to force it to move faster, he could immediately fire five consecutive shots without rest (five being the limit of any Erg or Mana based skill). And because the skill only manipulated Erg and not Mana itself, James found out that if he rested even for a second and forced the Erg upon his hands, the five shot limit refreshed itself. Even if he fired three and rested for a second, all five shots would be renewed. Because the way his hands seem to revolve due to the blurring speed, he coined this skill, “Arrow Revolver", which caused an uproar in the world of Archery.
Page 9
By pressing Learn on your skill menu, you will immediately learn the skill Arrow Revolver. Because Arrow Revolver was made by a Mage, it takes some time to learn to Manipulate the Erg already within your body, but because you manipulate the Erg in your body and not Mana directly, Arrow Revolver use Stamina, not Mana to use the skill. Because of the limits of Erg, the loading limit will always be five. However, if you recast the skill upon your hand, you will instantly reload all five shots, whether you reload it at three shots left or none, it will always be at five. However be warned that you can still miss with this skill and it is dependent on your current knowledge of Range Mastery.
Page 10
The Skill of Arrow Revolver is the epitome of the competition between mages and archers, because of its ability to control multiple enemies, the skill is highly valued by any archer that uses it. Never forget the numerous archers who trained hard to keep the art alive nor Ryswick who invented the Magnum Shot skill. But most of all, always remember that the ultimate Archer Skill was not made by an archer, but by a mage, who was saved by an Archer. As you compete with mages in terms of range combat, never forget, the competition is friendly and continue to work hard.
The End.
(Something seems to be scratched on the bottom of the page, not written by the author but by someone else)
~Hehe, mages will not lose the competition. When we found out Arrow Revolver’s ability to control multiple enemies at once, mages soon invented, as a response to archer’s ever growing ability, the spell “lightning bolt†to control multiple enemies. I wonder now what the archers will invent next? - An Aspiring Mage
