I'm looking for a cheap android tablet

It looks like I'm looking for a lot of things recently. Anyways, I'm basically looking for a tablet for my e-books at school (hate bringing my laptop). My budget is $175 at most. All I really need is youtube, a web browser, email and facebook. Basically, I need the playstore. The biggest problem I've encountered is that Amazon is retarded when it comes to Canada and the Nook is only available in the US.

I think you're better off raising the budget to 200$ for a Nexus 7, cheap tablets are usually never worth it, and the specs in the ones you listed are pretty bad, you would suffer sluggish web browsing on some sites.

Nexus 7 II is coming out soon, maybe this month.
The price for the first one might drop.

I have seen the reviews for the ASUS 16GB MeMO Pad 7", it's not a good tablet.

The MeMO only has one CPU so performance will be slow.

I don't like the Nexus 7 because it doesn't have a micro SD Card slot.

I would hold out a little longer

The Samsung Tab 3 models are coming out in early July in the US.
