MML Site List

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

There have been many great MML sites over the years, and in the end they have all crashed, burned, and exploded into a firey ball of death. So I think it is important to share the MML sites that still exist, so that their songs can be shared before they too meet their dooms. So I will be listing all the MML Sites I know of, and you should too.

This seems to be an Asian board for sharing and discussing MMLs. You'll have to manually look for things as there is no search or organization, and a lot of conversation between the MMLs

This is a small site I found(Asian again, go figure). There aren't a huge number of MMLs on it but it has some pretty good ones. Again no search or organization so you'll have to look for things manually.

For those interested I recently created a extremely tiny MML site ladtestground.x10.mx/
The website is still in its beta stages so there may be a few bugs and many features are still being developed.

Thanks for the list!

While it's really small I'm trying to advance a blog right now - which offers some rarer MMLs not availabe on any website I've ever visited. Offering mostly anime though.

@Laden Awesome work! Did you use some script to upload the MabiMML.co MML files directly ('cause same titles and looots of files)? It helps tremendously - I don't have to click through all the MMLs now in order to look for certain titles.

(If you call this 'extremely tiny' I really want to know what you call huge.)

Yeah I used a script to upload the MabiMML.co library although not every song got successfully imported their is still 11,304 song on the site.

As for the size of the site, yeah the song library itself is massive although many features are still in development like user commenting and song submission just to name a few.

I finally managed to come up with a name for the site so it's domain has changed to mabinogimmldb.x10.mx/

He already has a good start on it. All these mml sites attempting to pop up is nice and all but without proper organization and management it may fall flat.

Gah... this database is beautiful (well, for the most part) with a wide variety of things with most of them being very well-composed... but it's all entry IDs as the filename.

So I wrote a script to read the title of each mml file and make renamed copies. The hardest part is that so many people used characters in their titles that aren't valid for filenames, I had to specifically find which ones were killing the process and strip them out. :\ Backslashes, forward slashes, question marks, even a goddamned pipeshift in a few. ... and then there's some without a title in them at all, some that would cut off at the title, etc.

But after working through all that crap, all 1,101 renamed fine.
