I think whoever did that murder used the same idea than that first girl in the first murder case. the poster in both room clearly dont fit with the room this is suposed to be. And everyone know a programer girl that cute must be a trap, so it doesnt seem odd for her to be in the male side and just to use the "males can't commit the murder in the female only room" the insign of both room got exchanged.
Edit(since I didn't wanna double post): So I watched the entire gameplay of the actual game. My mind is messed up by this -.-
Seems that our suspicions about the programmer were true. Though, the motive for the switch may have been a bit different.
And let me make a few more guesses:
First, about the latest murder.
For one thing, the numbered mallets are most likely a misdirection, to make people think that the assaults were done in that order.
The second is that the Fanzine Maker wasn't dead when they found him, as the announcement was for the Prefect's discovery.
Third, obviously the Mystic isn't the killer, since the point is to not be caught. Although, it is odd for him to not be there at just the right time.
The Gambler seems the most likely to be the murderer, at the moment, unless the sixteenth shows up.
Now, as for my other guess.
I'll take a guess that they are not at the time they believe themselves to be, that this situation is in the future. There are some things to point out, such at that odd moment when he crossed the school gate's threshold. I'd guess this experience is due to his memory of everything after that moment to be blocked or erased. Another thing is that the way the windows were covered. If their purpose was to prevent people from seeing in, thick, unbreakable mirrored windows would have done the job. However, the way they're blocked prevents people from seeing outside, leading myself to believe that seeing whatever is outside would change their situation greatly.
Something you can guess by the pictures shown this episode, plus the ED, is that they once all attended the school they set out to attend, Hope Academy. However, for some reason, which is most likely very important, they've all been placed in this situation, without their memories of each other. Perhaps they all died in the past, due to some accident? Anyways, the technology utilized by Monobear is much more advanced than anything in their original time.
It could be that the situation is a test. If you notice, everything Monobear has given for motives are things that are not within their isolated box. This could be testing to see who among them is willing to value the people that exist more than things which might not.
