Hm doesn't the Red Dragon spawn at least once every day, like all the other raid bosses?

The timer right now is showing 47 hours til the next spawning, which doesn't sound quite right.

The highest time I see right now is about 17 hours, which seems alright to me.
Unless she saw your post and fixed it accordingly!

I don't think I understand your question, a field boss spawns once a day on weekdays (2 for Black Dragon) and 2 times a day on weekends (Except Yeti, although I believe there is a 2nd spawn sometime during the day) (3 for Black Dragon)

When the timebox turns yellow, this means that the field boss can spawn, as long as it is active, they spawn randomly in that time frame.
It spawns only once per channel during that time, dead is dead, and gone is gone.

Currently the only field boss to deny the laws of time is the Prairie Dragon, but my friend is doing his very best to prove it's a bug.

Now when those 48 minutes have passed, it'l go yellow and say that it's active. Even though it's supposed to have 10 hours left to go.

Happened earlier for me for giant lion and alligator. They said 22 hours to go then...suddenly active 8D

I think it was because of the normal schedule.

As far as I've seen, this timer doesn't bother with a Black Dragon "Ends in..." timer, because it's always a set amount of time before it despawns.

Yes, there are occasions in which the timer may have a slight disfunction, if this happens, take a screenshot of it, as well as the time (preferably in PST) this happened on.

The timer isn't perfect yet.

Also the Black Dragon can often be summoned with a scroll, yes, in this case though:
"The Black Dragon has appeared near Filia!"
"The Black Dragon has been summoned near Filia!"
^Only 1/2 words difference, often not seen because people tend to be busy when this happens.
