I don't really know. I can't read Korean and Kenero never divulged that info to me. I know we see them in Episode 6, Possibly Episode 5.

What's their role in the plot?

Well not everyone on the wiki can read Korean (or Japanese since I believe they're barely coming out there at the minute). Even less of the wiki contributors (or Mabinogi NA player base for that matter) actually pay attention to the story, unfortunately. So it will take a while to complete their backgrounds.
