Well, may as well get everything off my chest.
The forum has changed, and I've made up my mind. I'd already decided to leave earlier, hence why I haven't posted at all as of late. Yet I figure I may as well make a final goodbye thread for the few people around here that I still have respect for and consider my friends.
I've been with the community for a long time, and comparing then and now, it really feels like the current nation is a big daycare. You know what and the people who I am talking about. I'm not going to say you shouldn't have, I'm just saying I don't agree with the decision personally. As a result I've begun to feel really alienated by this place. It's not the same cozy forum that I used to know. Every other day that I choose to open nation so I can get some info on Mabi I just cringe reading a few posts.
Well enough of that, I've already decided I'm leaving so I'm not going to leave any further comments on this place. I'm done here and that's that. At most I figure I'll visit just for information on Mabi. As for the thin possibility of me actually returning here, I highly doubt that will happen.
I'll just name a few of the people whom I can think of on the top of my head to say some final words to so as to show my respect for them. Sorry if I don't mention you.
Osayidan, I'm gonna say that you did a great job with this community, helping to keep it together for such a long time. For that I hold a great deal of respect for you. I'd mail you some bacon as a parting gift if I hadn't already claimed all bacon within a 50m radius to be mine.
Bakuryu, We haven't really talked much as of late, maybe due to my own inactivity, but I want you to know that you've been a real good friend to me these pasts years. You should totally hit me up some time on Steam or Skype since MSN is dead.
The Cat, Brave New World comes out in two days. We should totally play a game when it releases.
Aubog007, I wanted to play some monhun with you, but I recall at the time my Wii U decided it wanted to have brain problems and never connect to the internet. As a result I never had you added. I'd still be up to play if you're still interested. In other news, I really appreciate how we have had a common interest in games like Fire Emblem and Monhun.
Christian, Sorry I never really had time to talk to you nor play a game of league with you. We got off on a bad start at first but I'm glad I got to know you bro. Feel free to get in touch whenever you wanna play. No homo.
Lan, It's been fun discussing Valvrave, the Plotwister with you on skype. I'm sure there's tons of other animu to look forward towards discussing in the future. i.e. Valrave, the Plotwister part 2.
RicochetOrange, One of these days I'm going to return to randomly challenge you to a battle over who has a manlier voice. You don't think I will, but I'll do it.
Arsik, You've done a great job in the past serving this community. I'm really surprised that you've decided to stick around. Unfortunately I have no plans of returning to shake up the community with a new and improved brand of chaos. However if I do, I'll be sure to impress you with what I may become capable of.
Kazuni, We haven't really played league as of late, but I'm sure if you drag me with a chain like you have in the past to play I probably will. Also just you wait, one of these days I'm going to stop being lazy and start playing ranked, and I'm going to top you in elo, and you will be very jealous.
Phunkie, You have shown me time and again that it's somehow possible to be a ridiculously positive person with a great sense of humor. I really don't know how you do it, but you may be one of the most amazing people I've ever met on the internet for that, and that earns you a special degree of respect coming from me.
BizarreJuju, The art you draw is damn good, but I cannot agree with how you treat us elves. I demand justice for this, no matter how likely it is your giant can beat the shit out of my elf with bare hands. Also I'd love to discuss more monster girls with you.
Okami, You're pretty much the person I've known for the longest time around here from back when we played Maplestory. Lots of good and bad memories of playing that game back then, but I'm glad Mabinogi came around. We haven't really talked much, but I've seen you playing Civ V. You should totally play Brave New World with me when it comes out.
There's a lot more people that I respect around here, but [S]I'm getting tired of typing all this shit and want to post this and leave already[/S] can't really think of what I want to say in respect to them. So I'll just name a couple more names that I can think of that I respect (regardless whether I know them personally or not), such as :
Kaeporo, Cucurbita, Ashikoki, Yoorah, Paul, Cecilia, Zid, Tarvos, Cygnix, Enhalo, Zack, and anyone else I'm forgetting, because I seriously want to play a game right now and can't be bothered to make this any longer than it has to be.
If you feel like you want me to say some final words to you that I haven't already, feel free to post in this thread. I guess I'll stick around for a bit to provide any more final words if that's what you want.
Anyway, if you ever wanna get in touch with me to play some games, I'll just leave a few ways of contacting me here :
Steam id : insanehitaki
Skype : insanehitaki
Mabinogi : Hitaki on Ruairi
I'm pretty sure you get the point that I tend to use "insanehitaki" for a lot of things. Any other contacts I have such as my 3DS friend code and the like can be added if you contact me on Steam or Skype.
Okay, I'm sure I had intended to say some other stuff in the end, but I can't really recall what it was, so I'm going to end off here. Like I said, I'll stick around for just a bit longer, but after that all Nation will be to me is just a resource for Mabi.
