Question on synthesis (cost from RA-6 and some others)

  1. How much should I be expecting to spend from Ranks A-6 of synthesis? Is 1 million gold enough to get me through everything?
  
  Assuming that I will only be buying stuff that is sold at NPCs like gathering knifes and the harder materials like those for clover leafs are obtained by some other way.
  
  2. How long should I expect to take to rank this skill past Rank 9? I'm currently Rank B and looking at the requirements in hundreds does overwhelm me.
  
  For example, I wonder how I am supposed to get 1000 unknown ores for Rank A. If I'm lucky to run into a field of bots like today I think I'll be fine but I am not sure if I can do that again.

  2. Past r9 is the easier parts, since everything is buyable from npcs. Just wait for rain (any level of rain gives the same +% to synthesis, except for thunderstorms). It should take you about a week or less, depending on how much time you're devoting to synthesis. Good luck!
