(I think Witcher 1 sucks balls compared to 2, so it's not even worth it if you can't/don't want-to play it. W2 can be enjoyed greatly by itself.)

Get Witcher 2. Very high requirements but very well optimized. And in my opinion it's a great game if you're at all into that genre. Just realize it's a full fledged RPG so you'll actually have to sit around and participate in the story, etc. It's not a "run around and slash everything" kinda game like some others in the genre. It's interesting enough to be worth it, though.
It's kind of difficult when you start, especially on a higher difficulty. You'll have to get used to it in the way you would a game like Dark Souls. If you just charge and slash everything, you'll probably have a hard time even getting past the first real fight. In fact, it might outright kick your butt if you aren't ready for it. As you get the hang of things, though, things start to go more smoothly.
