This is my first try at digital photography. It looks like I used paint but it is photoshop cs5. It was down using a mouse. Really wish I had a tablet.

Anyways, tell me what you think. I like helpful criticism and how to improve.

It's my girlfriend, I log into my account to check things on her computer, and it posted as me. ^^;

It was accidental. My laptop kept his history and all the way through to the posting, it was in my name. But when posted, it went in his. :(

Oh, okay then.
But, yeah. I like the water. And the cloud.

I like it, although I feel like the tree could have more depth. owo

The tree looks like two phalluses converging. A double-phallus.
I like everything else though.
(In general, water doesn't reflect bright blue in the middle of the night.)

Could make the grass a bit more varied, and yes, the tree could use some more depth.

I like it. The tree just looks a little weird. XD

Thanks. Like I said, wished I had a tablet. Be easier to control opacity and flow and all the things I need to. With a mouse, takes a little bit more practice and this is the first time I really tried something like this. And as for the water being a bright blue, I was thinking the moon was shining bright with just the one cloud. . . but my fog made it brighter.

Thanks. Will work on the depth thing. I was trying to get lighting right. Kinda suck at it.

I like the sky and the grass.
The tree's really weird looking.
The water is too bright a blue, and the stream doesn't get wider as it gets closer to show dimension. The pond part also looks like it has no dimension.
But!! I really like the concept. It's a very pretty picture. :D
It reminds me of the Lion King when Simba meets Rafiki. :O

Must have been killer doing it by mouse

It would have been a lot easier by tablet for sure. Especially the tree outline and then doing shading.
When I was first drawing the stream it was smaller but I added the colors and blended them it got wider cause hard to blend a continuous stroke with a bigger brush. Plus accidentally left the Sample All Layers on and caught my background in it. Didn't notice till later. As with the lake and tree, I will work on them. Why I asked for advice cause Byte's not really into art and shading and catching things.
