Can't Log In?

  First off I have no mods. None, zip, nada, none at all.
  
  Now haven't played in a few days which is nothing new.
  
  For some reason I can't use my desktop icon to play mabi. It goes through the whole patch loading bull and then closes itself once the progress bar hits 99%
  
  Ok fine I'll just open mabinogi via the actual game folder. It patchs and loads the login screen.
  
  Awesome!...Wait I can't type anything? I check my keyboard...it's connected huh.
  
  Hmm...maybe its something new? Ok fine I can deal I still can log in with that virtual keyboard right?

  Ok maybe something went wrong. I'll exit and retry this. Nope. Restart PC maybe? Nope. Ok maybe I'll turn off every other thing going on BUT mabi...Nope.
  
  Now I'm lost...quite a bit pissed and frankly I want to know what the (enter multiple curse words here) is going on here! I mean do I have to reinstall or some nonsense? If so...I'll rather not. I haven't been playing lately anyway and honestly this is something I never experience with any other game I play. Now I love the people in my guild but this game seems to know when to push my buttons at the worst possible time.

  Tried re-installing yet? Most of the time problems are resolved be re-installing.

  You've lost your fonts i think.
  You might have to resort to moded fonts then de-mod it for it to come back.
  
  or reinstalling but modding would be a better and a faster choice

  reinstalling is always a safe choice... albeit a very annoying choice, but a safe choice nonetheless >.>
