  He is just pissed that a lot of people out of college say they are experts dealing with social networks, but they use it like an average person would and has no experience in marketing. He say its okay to mention you are familiar with these networks which is a plus. Saying that you have expertise in the subject is a lie, straight out of college.
  
  If I read correctly, He works for the gaming industry and at least in my opinion the game industry does well in getting profits from social networks. Plus Linkedin Is useful to him as its pretty much a resume and its easier for businessmen to find your history.

  This. I see a lot of complains about people not being to get jobs and while that may be true in this current state of economy, everyone has to start somewhere, it was so hard for me to find a job when I first started looking with no experience and then I finally got a job at. . . Wal-Mart.
  
  It wasn't that bad because my boss and co-workers were friendly but the hours they gave me were ridiculous, and I quit after 6 months. With experience, just that single job experience I landed myself a job instantly after quitting Wal-Mart.
  
  Like you gotta start somewhere, McDonalds, Wal-Mart, plus your experience isn't probably going to be as dreadful as the ones you've heard about.

  I was 18 when I started my job at Target, and I wore the team uniform colors but with a button up dress shirt with the khakis instead of the typical team member polo shirts (which I can't seem to like wearing for some reason, I still wear my dress shirt to shifts.) Dressing professionally and in the company's colors.
