I plan to do blacksmithing to beyond rank 9 eventually.
No idea if I will ever hit R1, because I'm expecting it to be the toughest life skill to handle, and I'm not even done with enchanting yet, which was depressing enough to get to R2.

Thankfully, I'm not alone, so I'm going to do blacksmithing as a team with someone else who's going to rank it too.
