A way of explaining it in Mabinogi terms would be that it gives you temporary advanced heavy stander.
Without the passive defences. So you can't be knocked down/knocked back/be interrupted, but you can still take damage.
I would call them invulnerability frames.
I would call them invulnerability frames.
Not that I'm too knowledgeable with English gaming terminology, but doesn't invulnerability frames mean you cannot be hurt at all? (Which doesn't apply in this case.)
The general term is invincibility frames, but zekkii is trying to place emphasis on the fact that you do take damage, but the word invulnerable means "impossible to harm or damage" if you google it..so... invulnerability frames means the same thing as invincibility frames.
To be fair it means 'not vulnerable', which doesn't exactly mean you are invincible. Trouble arises because some people don't make that distinction and the very definition starts to vary, so it is hardly perfect. It might confuse people a little, but it should tip people off that the word invincibility is not used. In any case, I at least prefer it to 'hyper armor' which means relatively nothing to me. To be perfectly honest, we should probably stick with 'the skill will be executed regardless of damage taken'.
