The touchpad on my laptop is ultra sensitive. Even light air could throw the cursor around, and if anything is even close to the pad, the mouse goes insane.
I need this thing gone, now that I'm in a space with every little desk space, I kinda keep putting my documents and other devices on my laptop... and that makes my mouse very unhappy.
The driver does NOT respond. The fn + F9 button for the built on toggle is unresponsive. If I go to mouse > drivers > disable, then nothing happens. If I press uninstall, the drivers page just turns off and nothing happens.
The driver isn't listed on programs so I can't remove it from there.
I physically cannot figure out how to hard disable/remove the touch pad for my laptop. Any suggestions?

I dunno what laptop you have, but many laptops come with touchpads manufactured by Synaptics. It might be listed in Programs and Features under that name, but if not, you can still get rid of it via Device Manager. IIRC, the touchpad driver would be under Human Interface Devices, if not under Mice and other pointing devices.
While not the best solution, you could also re-install the driver properly from the manufacturer's site. It should give you access to settings where you could probably fix the sensitivity or disable it, depending on model.

You don't have a button that just locks it? All the laptops I've owned had those.

Even then, lots of laptops I've owned had little buttons you could press that turned off the touchpad.
Cucu needs to go to his touchpad preferences under control panel.

Yea!!! I didn't even mean fn+F9
There was this button usually ontop of the touchpad or by the screen that locked that shit.

You guys are awful :(
I would've pressed a button for the touchpad if there was one already. fnF9 is the only option this laptop has.
And I already said I've gone in to the control panel.
Anyways I went to long route and just hard disabled it from my bios.
