Which laptop should I get?

I have been doing some research on which laptop to get so I looked at a bunch of laptops and looked at their features and read their reviews. I was interested in a couple of laptops and since I am going to get one I eliminated the laptops until I got to the best two I liked the most. I will be using the laptop for gaming and school work [S]and maybe for watching porn[/S]. The two laptops I was very interested in were:

1. Asus-N56VJ-DH71

2. Acer Aspire V3-771G-9809

Don't go for Acer.
Their laptop are really bad and you will most likely have to buy a new one after a their warranty runs out.
Asus Laptops are the best choice.

Really? My Acer has lasted years.

Also terrible choice of laptops if you're buying online.

When I went to buy my laptop at a store the storekeeper told me that he didn't like selling Acers and the only reason he put them in his folder was because Acer paid for the advertisment.
I mean if a shopkeeper tells you this when you want to buy a laptop, there must be something really wrong with the brand.

I base my opinions on those of others since I have never had one myself.
I have also heard that their laptops get redicilously hot.

Though I heard that once it survives past the warranty it will survive for a while.

I'd rather be safe then sorry though.

The ASUS will run a lot of games on low/medium at acceptable frame rates and its monitor is 1080p.
The Acer is slightly better for games but Acer isn't that great of a brand. Also the Acer's monitor isn't 1080p
