A Phoenix?

  I could actually see them adding a Phoenix. Just make it a red Thunderbird with a flame effect, and make it like how herb pets are, but instead of harvesting herbs, you harvest Phoenix feathers, with a rare chance of getting an advanced feather or a party feather. They would have to make them non-tradeable though.

  >:L They really need to lift that rank 6 rule and cap it at rank 5. Most skills get a huge boost by then. Or at least make them learn rank 6 Firebolt at 25, like a Griffin does with Smash at 25. Fireball should be something that's learned really slowly though, otherwise they'd be OP.

  Hmm.. like rF fireball at level 30 with at faster cast time than regular fireball, and then when you get to level 50 it's r6. That way it'll keep most people from getting their pets so boss.

  Rank 6 fireball at level 50 would be broken. It would be getting a 153AP skill, in addition to the other skills, with just 2-3 weeks of spamming Ciar Adv with a friend.
  The damage only goes up by 700 from Rank 6 to Rank 1, it'll still do over 5000 damage on a Rank 6 Crit. If a pet had Fireball, it'd have to be capped at D-A, or just F. Having cast time reduction would be even more broken, because now they're getting an upgraded Phoenix Wand (full upgrade one is around 225k to make at 90%) which never loses durability.

  Level 50 is too easy for pets though. Just leave them dead in Ciar Adv and run through the floor, the resummon next floor.
  
  I would think that there should be like a Phoenix mainstream or something though. They could make make them fit into the whole Mabinogion theme instead of the filler G13~G16
