Mabination Fanart Contest?

  It's just a test run, really.. To make it long term.. I dunno, I don't want it to slowly become inactive as people lose interest in it. Sotw and the Photography Contest don't get nearly as much hype now.
  
  Also I don't want to be supplying nx for that long. It was just.. well, I was planning to buy nx with my leftover lunch money next week, but since I can't play mabi, I thought I might as well put a contest out there for it.
  
  Maybe a bit more than a month.. September 20th or something can be the due-date. Late entries (some grace time is okay, I guess) will have points taken off.
  
  
  The prizes could be:
  
  1st: 10k nx and a custom pet/username colour, maybe? 10k nation gold
  2nd: 10k nx, 10k nation gold (Since Jihui is willing to supply nx too owo)
  3rd: 10k nation gold.
  
  The gold isn't a problem, I'm sure, as Chise and the rest of the admins can conjure it out of thin air.
  And to make 1st and second different, maybe we could add in the custom colour (like that other contest before) or maybe a custom pet or something.
  
  The theme is "Mabination Community", of course. Maybe "Back to school for Mabination", since it's September again.
  
  
  
  
  Digital and traditional art forms are both acceptable, but must be flat. As in, no sculptures or dioramas, just drawings and such.
  Colour isn't mandatory, but is preferable.
  If it's traditional (on paper), you can either scan it or take pictures of it. Make sure you have shown clearly your favourite parts of the drawing, as in, don't take a picture but have blurry parts. You can take multiple pictures, and feel free to zoom in.
  
  No tracing, no copying, references are okay, etcetc.

  I think NX should go to first place then the community can vote and the winner of that gets the other 10k NX. Of course the winner of the official contest cant be voted on.

  And @Serathx, that's what I'm worried about, since it's a graphic thing and not something everyone is good at. I'm looking at this as a one time thing, only.

  I like Brad's idea of the community voting for a runnerup to get the other 10k.
  
  Although I'd set some ground rules for that.
  Depending on the amount of people entering, the runner-up would have to get a certain amount of votes above the others to win.
  As in:
  RU #1: 15 votes
  RU #2: 14 votes
  
  I think it would be.. not unfair, but weird, to give 10k nx to #1 in this case.
  
  
  
  Entry Rules:
  
  -You must have at least 150 posts to enter. It doesn't matter if you've been banned or given infractions.
  -As stated before, digital or traditional.
  -The drawing must be done for this event specifically, as in, no using previous drawings.
  -Must be visibly relevant to the theme.
  -Back to school theme (?)
  -Entries are to be PM'd to the event organizer (to be determined) and for them to keep until it's voting time, at which point a thread will be made to decide the winners.
  -Poll will be up for 7 days only so don't forget to pick your favourite!~ Poll will be an actual in-thread poll, so if you post your vote it won't count~ I'll bump it every few hours so nobody misses it.
  
  I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

  Yea, I agree with the voting thing. @@ I think a "Remember to submit your entries before the deadline! You can also submit a WIP screenshot for a couple days of extension time but you get a couple points off for being late. ;x" works, too.
