Well, lately my laptop has been heating up so much it burns me. It only started happening when I started using Mabi again. Whoops.

They're is honestly not many ways to fix that. They sell cheap fans at walmart or bestbuy that you can sit your computer on those really help. Might want to spend 20 - 40 dollars though. I'm going to assume that your computer doesn't have a great fan system of its own and mabi won't be the only game that pushes your computer towards overheating.

Now has this not been an issue for you before? Perhaps one of your fans are malfunctioning. Not that repairing it is easy on a laptop... but there are a few workarounds.
Cheap method: The bottle cap method. Just glue four bottle caps of any kind (make sure they match though!) on each corner of your laptop. This makes it elevated when set on a flat surface, letting the bottom of the laptop stay a bit cooler.
Budget method: Get a laptop cooling pad/fan. They can run you around 40 dollars though.
Expensive method: Get a freaking computer already, what is with everyone's obsession with gaming on laptops?
Silly method: Get an icepack and strap it to the laptop. I did this when my Wii's fan broke, and two icepacks let me game for 4 hours straight without it crashing!
Repair method: If your fan really is broken, and you want to keep using the laptop for a long time, then you probably should fix it regardless of whether you play mabi or not. Take it to a local repair shop (not geek squad!)

Yeah it hasn't happened before. I'll try the bottle top thing. Also, my computer broke down and i couldn't afford a new one so I got a laptop.

But aren't laptops generally more expensive than desktops...?

If you're looking at around a 400~500 dollar level, they're not
too far off. Because on a desktop the margin of benefit doesn't exceed the equilibrium until you hit around 700+

Option/Step 1:
Clean the fan of dust
Option/Step 2:
Buy a can of WD-40 and spray it on the fan(between the base and the rotating blades) this spray will kill rust and stickyness.
The best thing about it is that it doesn't conduct electricity unlike water.
If that doesn't work you are better off buying a new fan probably.
