Hi guys, So recently my PC has been kind of stuffed up... For for the time being I need to use my macbook pro, Obviously neon doesn't support Mabinogi on mac, So I need to run mabi on virtual box. So I downloaded mabinogi on virtual box, installed visual c++, etc. Then I got this error, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem". if anyone knows a fix please reply.

Does virtualbox have a software package you need to install on VMs to improve performance? vmware does and nothing really works well until you do so.

Yes, vbox requires the installation of a tools package to take advantage of better guest-host integration just like vmware does.
And speaking of vmware, I believe it works better for running Mabi, anyway. Perhaps you should try that. VMware Player is free.

I tried virtual box on windows. Their video driver quite incomplete so expect hell of visual bugs in mabi. And it will run sloowly.
Yeah, try VMWare. It works and fast except buggy mouse camera angle change.
Also you could try Parallels, i think it support even DirectX 10
