At first I was sorta hyped for this game since it enhances Etrian Odyssey 1's story which people complained about (well... the whole series in general), but now that I saw this trailer, fuck mang day 1 get.

Also can we talk about how amazing the soundtrack is? Loved how it went all Jazzy for a few seconds right before the guitar came in. Also the animated cutscenes look amazing.

Surely I'm not the only one hyped for this game, right? ;~;

I've only played 1. A little bit. And the demo of 4. But for some reason I adore this series. Prolly the music.

The game taking place in the future was a huge plot twist in the original game. I can't believe they just made that exposed to begin with.

If I had a 3DS I'd get it. Just finished Class of Heroes 2 with about 60 hours of gameplay, more like 70~80 if you include the amount of times I had to reset. Kept me busy for a decent time but now I got nothing else to play when outside of my house.

I love everything about the series. I just wish the game had less loli characters.
I sometimes hook my 3DS to my stereo system just to hear the music of 4's demo.
That jazz influenced FOE music <3

Nope, the map gimmick is an EO thing. CoH is more of a wizardry clone, thus it might seem archaic for people not used to classic dungeon crawlers. Skip straight to 2 if you want to give it a try.
