  I've been doodling/painting, etc with traditional for awhile and want to move to digital; although I don't think I am confident enough to share my work like others have yet though. Scary stuff.

  funny thing is, I didn't have too much trouble moving to digital, but the inverse is like pulling my teeth out... nowadays my 'sketchbook' is full of squiggles and stick figures that no one else can understand hrgg o_o" I feel like a caveman! Even though I'm in the digital camp I believe that traditional work still has an edge because of how unique it is, and the love and care that goes into every stroke.
  
  I hope you do share your stuff sometime! It's not scary, everyone benefits from good advice.

  Thanks! My [real] job is graphic arts/advertising, but I would be happier if I could make illustration my full time job. =w= Digital art is something I learned online, submitting art to a now-defunct wallpaper community, AnimePaper. And yes, those works posted above are 100% digital.
  
  As for time spend on things, it depends. Deadlines are highly motivating... the valkyrie fanart [Ragnarok Online- Maiden of Odin] was done in 6/7h. Cichol doodle took an hour or two. The carrot drawing took 5 days of slacking and 2 nights of work, as I remember. It varies hugely. Now that I have more work to do, I allot two weeks for commissions- one week to produce a series of drafts, then one more for detailing and further adjustments.

  I've been behind on Mabi in general- my friends have all gotten busy, and so have I :/ Refine sucks the fun out of playing, too. Bleeding 200+ DEX with Scarecrow set... plus a lot of work to do lately.
  
  I did post some new stuff over at my Tumblr, however. Mostly scraps. (image is clickable btw)

  Not sure if you know this Tsu, but refine got changed so you no longer need fails. I think though that if you have yet to rank up the skill, it may still have the old requirements. Once you rank up, it should update. Aside from that, Refine pots are plentiful.

  Yep, I had the old reqs but with the grace of the Skill seal I saved myself a few dozen iron fails :)
  Actually I've been doing much better since ranking Metallurgy, it's just that when I don't have much time to play as it is, logging in to pan Qilla (and from time to time, wrestle bears to get neg exp) is not very exciting.

  I'd recommend checking the house board and dunby shops for some refine pots, if you're really bored of the skill. They shouldn't go for too much now, just maybe one search when you get on can prove helpful.
