  2. Predict what's gonna happen.
  3. Figure out what you can do from this point.
  4. Execute.
  
  It's always good to know how to get out of combos, and extending your own.

  basically this.
  elves just need to shoot first and then set up a zero-shooting position, and that's it.
  occasionally i'll mirage missile them, and then just run away before they can get close enough to infect me.

  For Elves, you have to be pure lagless to really have a chance in duels. Unless you have a really tanky character, you have to pump out N+LB+Magnum as soon as you can. If you get hit first, you lose. Simple as that.

  In a melee duel, it's an acquired learning and executing process involving trial-and-error.
  
  In a non-melee duel, just spam some long range attack. Like Ranged Attack with a Slow Ranged bow in a close-zero shot manner. You're an Elf, that should be easy. Heck, Ranged Elves can even pin their targets against a wall for one for the fastest and safest DPS (assuming they don't miss, which is about 1% of most duels that resulted in that walling). Easy win.

  If your looking for PVP, play DFO lol, MUCH more balanced.
