Disable Nagle + Optimize connection in a easy way

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Anything running doesn't slow it down. It depends on your system resources, and how beast of a computer you have. A computer that can handle having Starcraft II at Max should be able to handle Notepad + Chrome without feeling lag on either.

Gamebooster helps out if you have a shizzlebiscuit comp, but doesn't make much of a difference if your RAM is over 3 GB.

Also doesn't make a difference if you already do the things it does manually. Hell, it even slows me down.

Just follow the instructions in the opening post Splat.
If it's greyed out it's because you didn't click on "Custom".

After you rebooted, go under "Advanced Settings," choose "Custom" under "Choose Settings," and change "TcpAckFrequency," "TCPNoDelay" to "enabled: 1."

TCPAckFrequency and TCPNoDelay are the settings that control the Nagle Algorithm.
