The second season was not made with a third season in mind, compared to the manga. Certain foundations were not set, so it'd be a bit of a mess if they tried to continue, and they'd probably end up straying from the manga if they did. I have great doubts that they'd ever pick that up again, but it's not beyond possibility.

Read through to the end btw. It has a wonderful ending.

Ah, that's really a shame being how I was never really into manga. It's how the story goes with point A to point B and all of the action clutter scenes that throw me off the most. I thought this anime was beautiful overall and I was hoping they'd spring to reanimate it again.

Really, it's wonderful? I've been poking around and in that poking around I accidentally partially spoiled myself, but everyone is saying the ending is a disappointment?[/SIZE]

I don't think that the ending itself is a disappointment. Sure, a couple of things about it, maybe, but I think that overall, everything ended well, and I was very happy with how choices were made and how things ended.

[SPOILER="Close to the end..."]Kaname pulls Zero and Yuki into a hug. That is the only time in the entire series that all 3 are in the same hug. <3[/SPOILER]
