Quote from Lan;1145409:
Are you asking why the civil war started? Due to the events of the Arab Spring that saw major changes taking place in the Middle East the Syrian people thought they could join in and started protesting for a better life. They were massacred by their President and kept protesting and kept being massacred until enough was enough and the people started fighting back.
Then what about Egypt, their leadership was shattered due to American influence, now people are rioting for the muslin brotherhood back in power, and police brutality risen to a new height. If you want US to take responsibility for Syrian people's well being, what about Egyptian people's well being?
