x.x can't help it, this song happened to land on those notes, would sound off key if I shifted it an octave higher or lower

Like throughout the entire song or the guitar part? I couldn't get the guitar part to sound like the original very well and it feels kinda unmatching

The Singing is actually pretty good (given within the reason of what singing sounds like) and I salute you for what you managed to do with it.
